 Roses are red, Rain clouds are gray

My husband doesn't spend money on Valentine's Day

Because, when you have none it's kind of hard

To drop five dollars on a Hallmark card

And, flowers too, aren't worth it to buy

When, in just a few days, they're going to die

What about a date? We could go out and be wild

But wait, what are we thinking? We have a child.

So, I think it's ok and thank heaven above

That he does so much more to show me his love
