To the stranger at the park who asked me if I was planning on having more kids: Inappropriate
To the man at Sam's Club with the high pitched helium voice who creepily followed me to my car to give me a flyer for some morning talk radio show after I told him I wasn't interested: Inappropriate
To the lady in the gym locker room who insisted on putting her make-up on next to me in the mirror--topless: completely INAPPROPRIATE
What is up with people? Seriously. Why have personal boundaries become non-existant? Has Facebook turned us all into such complete whack-a-doos who feel the need to share every tiny detail about our lives that all rules of normal social interaction have been forgotten? I can't tell you how many times Weston and I have been asked about our family planning since Hayley was born. I think people are just in complete shock at how young we are and how young our kids are that they want to know if we are sadistic enough to have more children. Fair question but still inappropriate.
And I really do blame Facebook for this epidemic. It has allowed people to let their crazy hang out all over the place, and no one bats an eye anymore. When did it suddenly become ok to share your relationship problems/family secrets/personal health issues with everyone you know? I understand that it's easier to just typey-type whatever our little minds are thinking and press enter than it is to say some things to people's faces, but come on. Do all of your family, friends, and acquaintances really need to know when you're ovulating? I think, no. And I say to you: Inappropriate.
