Post-pregnancy hair.

Having a baby definitely changes your body. I think the thing that troubles me the most about my post-pregnancy self is my dang hair! About three months after I had Jackson, my hair started to fall out. I don't mean just shedding a couple strands here and there. I mean I could make a wig out of all the hair that was on my bathroom floor after I blow-dried it. It's a good thing I have (had) a lot of hair, or I'm pretty sure I would now be the new spokesperson for Women's Rogaine. Well, after a year, it's starting to grow back, but now I have hair that looks like this:

I mean, seriously, what is that? What am I supposed to do with it? The best part is, by the time it grows back to normal length, I probably will have had another child and the cycle will start all over again. Lovely.

  1. I totally, totally understand. As soon as it all grew back to my chin, I was pregnant again. Starting over! Then I had bangs cut to cover them the second time. HATE bangs. So now I'm still trying to grow bangs out. It sucks. I'm just planning (as much as I HATE to say it) on having kinda dumb hair until we're done having kids...like 2 or 3 YEARS after we're done...it'll pass though. You look good, lady :o)

  2. I was just talking to my hair dresser about this. My hair is just back to "normal" now, only difference...it doesn't hold certain colors so well.
